Caroline Baas is an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. Her majors are Urban Studies and Urban Planning with Geographic Analysis, with a minor in Anthropology, and certificates in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Public & Professional Writing (PPW). At ISHI, Caroline contributes to the World Historical Gazetteer as a Student Worker and is currently working on a historical place collection focused on Ibn Battuta and his travels across Africa and Asia.
